Italy 2016: Pavullo nel Frignano Photo Diary
Ciao ragazzi!
My apologies for going dark but we have been working, and now traveling non-stop since my last post from Bologna. While in Pavullo nel Frignano we primarily labored, but were able to photograph our experience in bits and pieces.
Pavullo nel Frignano is a unique and incredibly special town in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Although off the path typically traveled, I highly recommend a visit! The hills surrounding Pavullo are breathtakingly beautiful and smell of sweet, herbaceous blooming Elderflower at all times of the day.
Without further adieu, here’s a photo diary of our farming experience!

Neighboring Benedello is just up the hill.

One of my favorite houses in the area, the beautifully maintained property of Diana.

Photo of Emilia-Romagna taken along a country road.

Walking the dogs along my favorite path.

Elderflowers bloom in abundance!

The view during a morning jog up the hill!

Selfie taken upon arrival to farm. This was the cleanest we looked for three weeks.

Pavullo has a weekly Saturday market for clothes, food and gadgets! A trip to the market is a MUST!

Feeling tough and allergy ridden.

Weeding, a skill I never knew I had.

More weeding.

Did I mention I weeded a lot?

A bottle of Pingoletto after a hard day.

Dinner at Charlie’s, a hyper-local spot in Pavullo.

Staining patio furniture for the Agroturismo.
